He growls angrily but I know the anger isn't directed at me but I find my mind buzzing.

"What's your name?" He asks and just his voice makes me want to kiss him, to have him on top of me and making out.

"Maia." I say and surprise myself by not stuttering. I look away from his intense gaze and he sighs loudly.

"Austin." He says and I scoff loudly, then I realised what I'd done and looked up at him. His eyes held confusion and humour. "What?"

"Your telling me your name, it not like I haven't heard it before or anything," I say my voice laced with sarcasm "nah."

He chuckles softly and reaches out his hand, his hand makes contact with my cheek and the electricity makes me jump slightly. His smile deepens and he brings me into himself, holding me close to him.

"I have to go." I say pushing away from him slightly and start towards the door, I almost made it but his hands wrap around my wrist.

"No you don't. I'm Alpha if you have to meet someone then I can tell them they can wait, I just found you Maia. Your my mate." He says looking into my eyes he entire time.

"I have to get ready for tomorrow." I say turning my head away from him.

"Of course, your the new student." He says and steps away quickly, emptiness settles in my stomach and I feel tears in my eyes. What's wrong with me? "Leave."

One word. That one single word, one is all it takes. Just another word starting with L and ending in E that causes so much drama.

A stray tear falls out of my eye but before he can see I rush out of the room. My heart breaks more and more the further away I get from him.

My wolf is howling and I've taken so much time listening to her complain and beg that I didn't realise I was outside in the grounds.

It's forbidden to be here, I know the rules.

Rule 2: No student is allowed outside the academy walls past 10pm.

And it is now about I don't know if I'm honest like 0? Maybe . I look around and find the darkness quite frightening, I can't see past a few metres.

I try moving and succeed first time, my body moves and my eyes snap open not caring about the blazing white light hanging down from the ceiling.

I sit up quickly and the spinning in my head worsens. Sparks ignite on my shoulder as Austin try's pushing me down again but I don't move a muscle.

"What?" I ask sort of rudely and I'm surprised my voice isn't completely dry.

"You've been out for about 35 minutes. And please don't use that tone with me. I'm sorry about earlier Maia, I was just concerned about your studies." Austin says looking so cute at this point.

"Ok." I reply and stand up but it's the very very bad wrong move to make because I just end up falling into Austin. His arms make sure I don't fall as he holds me up and against his chest.

His scent intoxicates me and I look up into those chocolate brown eyes.

"Beautiful." He whispers.

I pushed away from his heated body and looks at the floor as my face turns a crimson red. I keep my eyes focused on the marble floor as he steps towards me.
