Werewolf Academy's Alpha novel Chapter 52

William steps forward to say something but I hop off the bed and put my arms in front of me, my hands shaking as if magically they will keep him away.

"N-No," I say as he takes another step "D-Don't come any c-closer."

Austin snarls at William as he stands protectively in between William and I. He looks at me to check I'm alright but I don't take my eyes of William. He grabs my hip and pulls me into his chest.

Jason grabs William's shoulder and I barely hear him telling William to sit on a seat the opposite side of the room.

"Maia," Jason sad calmly "come sit back down on the bed, your not suppose to be up yet."

Austin grabs my hand and nods, he helps me back onto the bed where I sit up nervously. Austin sits beside me and holds me close to his side.

"Now how about you both start telling us what's happening here?" Rose says stepping in for the first time since she arrived. Japan pulls her onto a seat next to him and I glance at William.

"I know her but as Lily Richards." William says calmly looking at me, my arms tight around my baby for protection.

"How?" Austin grits out between his teeth and his arms tighten around my l body. He places a hand on my stomach over my own hand.

"Her uncle brought her in because she had an accident, I saw her once a week. After a while it stopped and one day a while ago, a few months ago maybe, her uncle came back and said she had died. Killed by a rogue but he was never going to stop until he found her even though he told me she was dead." William explains calmly.

Everybody turns to me with confusion written all over their faces. Jason starts pacing slightly and Rose is just starting at me with a small smile. Austin however I have no idea what he is like because I don't want to look at him.

"You didn't know your parents so how could it of been your uncle?" Austin asks.

"He lied, my 'uncle'." I say standing up and out of the arms of my mate. "That was actually my teacher, who well uh..."

Austin stands up snarling, his arms grab he bottom of my shirt and pulls me into him. The air is completely knocked out of my lungs because of the force.

"Oh my gosh!" Rose says standing up with her hands over her mouth in shock. Jason and William seem to get it too because they both let out a large gasp.

"Keep our mind link fully open, if there is any trouble you know how to contact me." He says giving me one last peck on the lips then walks out with Jason and Rose.

Silence fills the air as William watches me and I watch him, not sure of what I should expect. Will he be like Mr. Peen? Or will he be friendly?

"Maia." He says breaking the deafening silence, I look up at him and he comes closer but not too close.

"Yes." I nod and watch as he gets his stethoscope out of the draw next to me.

"Lay down please." He says and I follow the instruction "so not Lily then?"

"No my name is Maia." I say and hold out my hand nervously, William smiles and gladly shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you, and I'm so sorry I didn't know what was happening to you." William expresses as he rolls up my top which I immediately know is Austin's.
