Chapter 16 novel Young CEO loves me
"What the hell was all that about?" Shane questioned as the four of them were heading out of the school.
"The motherfucker touched my girl." Kelvin replied and held more firmly on to Alisha's hand.
"What!?" Mindy said shockingly and looked at Alisha "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Thank you." Alisha replied.
"You should have let me go with you when I volunteered " Mindy said.
"Don't blame yourself." Alisha said and gave Mindy an half smile "It's bound to happen."
"But..." Mindy was saying but Alisha cut her off.
"Mindy, I know you're worried but seriously, I'm okay."
"So, where are you going to now?" Shane asked when they got to the car park.
Kelvin stopped on his track and looked at Shane before speaking. His eyes were still hard.
"I have no idea but the only person that I want to be with right now is my girlfriend."
"Oh... okay" Shane nodded "Call me when you're home."
Kelvin ignored Shane, walked to his passenger's door, opened it and motioned for Alisha to get in.
"We'll talk later Mindy." Alisha said before entering the car.
"Okay. Bye." Mindy said back.
Kelvin slipped into his seat, slammed the door shut, buckled his seat belt and sped off the car park.
Alisha looked at Kelvin under her eyes lashes and started wondering how to start a conversation with him since Kelvin was obviously in no mood to start one. His attention was fully on the road and the way he was gripping the steering wheel was not friendly at all.
Alisha pouted her mouth and started twiddling with her hair nervously when suddenly, Kelvin spoke.
"Say what's on your mind." He said.
"Huh?" Alisha who wasn't expecting him to talk said "I mean, I'm sorry."
Kelvin slowed down the car and tilted his head in her direction, one of his eyebrows became furrowed and part of his cheek had turned red from one of Zhang's punches "For what?"
"For...I mean for everything that happened. If it wasn't for me and the offer, you wouldn't have been in this mess."
Kelvin simpered and Alisha sighed heavily in relieve. "Stop blaming yourself, Alisha. As long as you're with me, I won't allow that motherfucker to come near you... unless you want him to."
"Thank you."
Kelvin smiled and showed Alisha his perfectly, white teeth. "Common, you're my girlfriend."
After some minutes, when Alisha suspected where Kelvin might be heading to, she looked at him and said "and where are you going?"
"To the beach." he replied. It was the same beach where Alisha had wanted to end her own life some days ago. Kelvin looked at Alisha worriedly when the thought came into his mind and he said "Oh... maybe we should go to somewhere else if you're not okay with it."
'I'm sorry Alisha. I'm really sorry. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me.' echoed inside Alisha's brain but she shrugged it off and looked back at Kelvin "It's okay by me."
After that, Kelvin accelerated.
Alisha looked out of the window and started thinking about the mysterious accident that had happened that afternoon. How Zhang had obstructed her inside the restroom. How she had stared at his thin lips with lust. How she had wanted him to kiss her so badly. How he had kissed her and how she had been disgusted by the act.
That last part was the only part that wasn't making any senses. Why was she disgusted by Zhang kiss all of a sudden. He was her first love, her first kiss, her first lover. Zhang was her everything until...
A thought struck her and she slowly turned her head and looked at Kelvin whose attention was fully on the road. How was that possible? She had only knew him for few days. She thought.
It was total bullshit. There was no way she was...no, no, no, it's wasn't possible.
When? How?
