"So, first thing's first, you have the boobs. I have small boobs, so, these dresses don't look good on me. But you..." Melody grinned as she grabbed a beautiful red dress.
She then grabbed a stunning golden one and handed them both to me. "Try them on," she instructed.
I quickly made my way to the dressing rooms, frowning at the dresses. They sure are gorgeous, short, but classy. As soon as I closed the door, I frowned in the mirror. I really hope I can actually fit myself in these, my breasts tend to ruin everything.
Once I was in the red dress, I smiled a little. It fit my figure nicely, even my breasts looked great in it. I turned and walked out to where Melody was waiting. Once she saw me, she smiled, her eyes lit up as she ran over.
"You look gorgeous!" She beamed. "Alright, next one!"
The white one fit nicely too, but my breasts were practically falling out, much to my dismay. When I showed Melody, she simply shook her head, stating the dress showed far too much cleavage. Afterwards, I tried on several more dresses, but the red one ended up winning. We also bought stunning red heels, which I was excited to wear. If there is one thing I love, it's heels.
"Alright, so, make-up and hair. You're only going to a meeting, but still...I think we should curl your ends. Make them loose and natural looking and some natural make-up. You already look stunning without any," Melody said as we walked to her car.
"Are you coming?" I asked, hopping into the passenger seat.
She nodded, "Yeah, Gabriel wants his future business partners to meet me. I'm nervous though, Xavien never really took me to any business meetings."
I smiled softly, "They're not bad, basically, you just listen to what they say and maybe make a few comments if you want. I always allowed Gabriel to do the talking, unless they made a comment just to piss me off."
"I figured there would be men like that."
"So, do we have enough time to grab some lunch? I know Gabriel has a meeting at four," I asked.
She nodded, "We have two hours...Chic fil a?"
I grinned, "You read my mind."
"Shit!"
"We're going to be late!"
"All because that guy had to drive like a fucking grandma!"
I groaned as we reached the top floor, panting and basically dying. I looked back at the stairs and gasped.
"Maybe we should start going to the gym," I breathed.
Melody nodded, "Sounds good."
"Summers! Why are you...did you guys just sprint up fifty flights of stairs?" Gabriel asked, gently helping Melody not fall.
I groaned as I tumbled to the ground, "Maybe."
Melody sighed, "Me and Scar are going to start working out."
He raised an eyebrow at the both of us before gently grabbing my arm. I quickly pulled away though, shaking my head.
"Will you stop it!" Melody snarled, slapping him on the back of his head. "Listen, you left her two fucking years ago. She had her reasons for cheating, reasons to keep your ass safe. So, instead of being cruel, try being grateful."
My eyes widened and so did his, I froze when he slowly looked at me. "You cheated to keep me safe?" He asked.
I swallowed and silently begged Melody to help me. She bit her lip before grabbing his attention, "Again, she can't tell you. Now, you head back to your office and Scar, honey, go home. You're swaying....maybe Silas or I should-
I shook my head, "It's fine, I can drive home. My car is here anyway."
She frowned, "But you're really pale, are you-
"Mel, I'm fine, honestly," I said, smiling.
She didn't argue, she only nodded before dragging Gabriel to his office. As soon as they were gone, I sat back down and cried softly. I have no idea why he's nice the one minute, but hurting me the next. Why can't we just be civil?
"Hey, what's with the tears? The boss won't be happy."
I looked up to see Anthony frowning at me, I sighed before looking away. "Why does heartbreak hurt so much?"
He pulled me into a hug, sighing, "Because life's a bitch. But you have to learn how to fuck her. Come on, I think you need to get away for a while."
I frowned, "Where are you dragging me to now?"
He smirked, "A club that I always go to when I need to loosen up. Come on, we'll drag Silas along too."
