"Mama, I'm hungry." Said the little Chase with big puppy dog eyes earning a soft beautiful chuckle from his mother.

"Yes honey, just give five minutes. I'm making your favourite pancakes." She chirped happily as an adorable smile appeared on the baby's face.

Chase clapped his chubby hands together in pure joy while his eyes twinkled with happiness.

Chloe immediately cooked the food and plated it for her baby and herself. Placing the food on the island counter she sat on the stool beside his baby chair.

Saying a small prayer she ate her food and fed Chase the same time while making baby faces and sounds.

After food she was washing the dishes and Chase was playing on the floor with his wooden toys when the door of their cottage was knocked.

Chloe opened the door to find Sarah on the other side. Sarah was a beautiful eighteen year old girl who works as a babysitter of Chase for Chloe. Though the salary that Chloe gave her was average but it was enough for the girl to pay her tuition fee and Sarah loves Chase. So it's a plus plus. That's why Chloe trusts her baby with Sarah.

The girl was really intelligent, decent and lovely by nature. Her father was a farmer and her mother died when Sarah was just ten.

"Come in dear." Chloe let her in and closed the door and seconds later Sarah and Chase were found in a baby hug. A wide smile on Chase's face said how happy he was after seeing Sarah. Her friend and partner in crime.

Chloe went into her room. The cottage wasn't that big and has two small but comfy rooms, an open kitchen in a beautiful lounge. Outside there was a beautiful garden that she decorated with flowers herself. She has planted Roses and lilies with great love. Her love for nature never faded away.

Changing her clothes to a loose floral frock that reached her ankles, she wore her slippers and came out. Giving a soft kiss on Chase's forehead she smiled at Sarah.

"I've prepared sandwiches for you both for lunch. Make sure he eats it and you take care." Chloe told Sarah with a smile as the girl nodded and Chloe left the house.

She walked at least ten minutes to reach the school that was on the other side of the river. She had to cross the wooden bridge to get there. At first she used to be so scared but now she was used to it.

Sovac was a beautiful place situated between the mountains all around and a fresh flowing river that passes from the middle of their village.

She taught math at the school and children there love her so much. Once reaching school she busied herself with work.

She reached back home in late afternoon. The weather in Sovac was always cold or normal. Summers barely come here due to the coldness of this region.

Chase greeted her with a wide smile while clapping his chubby cheeks.

Sarah bid her bye after giving a soft kiss on Chase's cheek.

Chloe greeted her baby with a kiss. "You sit here baby. Mommy's gonna change her clothes and come back." She instructed the little boy who bobbed his head in understanding and she went to change her clothes. She freshened up and came out to find Chase on the floor playing with his toys.

Chloe sat with her son and played along.

"Mama, where is my daddieee?" Asked the little boy with wide brown eyes and his words snatched her breath away.
