She was frozen in her place. Her heart stopped beating and her feet became mountain heavy unable to move. Her throat clogged up and every nerve in her body screamed at her to run but her body forgot the simple function of making a move.

Cold chills ran down her spine witnessing that cold look on his face. There was no warmth. The look on his face said it all.

This man in front of her wasn't her husband who held so much love for her. This man was the same merciless beast who had tortured her a lot.

He wasn't changed a bit but what changed the most was the cold deadly look on his face that was void of any emotion.

There was a sheer dominating aura coming out of him and the trimmed stubble on his face gave him a rugged and more manly look.

"Hello! Wife." The way he hissed out those words filled with so much venom was enough to freeze her heart.

It was as if a jolt of current passed through her spine and instantly Chloe tried to shut the door close.

But his large hand landed on the door stopping her from closing it at his face.

"That's not a way to treat your husband, my wife." He taunted in his cold menace voice.

The voice she yearned to hear every day was now speaking right in front of her but the malice and venom in his voice was tearing her heart apart.

She took an abrupt step back as he took a step inside the cottage. Her eyes for a fleeting second looked behind his back to notice a number of men dressed in black wearing ray bans and holding guns in their hands, standing like his true loyal puppets.

She flinched as her eyes set on him who closed the door behind him shut. The clicking of the lock had her insides curling in fear.

After 3 years she was so very much afraid of her own husband.

"W-what a-are you doing he-here?" She stuttered badly knowing fully well why he was here.

He took another step towards her, making her move a step back as her eyes observed his massive shoulder. He has become more buff and muscular.

Andrew tilted his head and his dark eyes landed on their son Chase on the couch. She saw a flicker of emotions in his eyes that was gone as soon as it came. He walked towards Chase and Chloe didn't know why but she felt threatened so she immediately jumped in front of him.

"A-Andrew..." She stuttered, making rage to cross his eyes as he abruptly grabbed the nape of her neck and pulled her closer to him with a jerk.

Chloe gasped as her eyes widened at his behaviour of callousness towards her.

"Don't you dare take my name Chloe! You've lost that right a long while ago!" He hissed at her face venomously as her eyes widened in dead shock.

Pushing her aside he marched to this son. Picking the sleeping Chase up in his arms he caressed the back of his baby.

A sigh of content escaped his lips after meeting his own blood after three long torturous years.

But he will never forgive the one whom he used to love the most but not anymore.

Andrew turned to face Chloe who looked pale.

Without another word he started to walk towards the main door.
