“What the f*ck are you doing here?” I growled with eyes still widened.
“I should be the one asking you that right?” He shot back and sip on the coffee I served.
“Stop running away from me Jada, don’t forget that I’m Achilles Coleman. I have all the connections.” He added before shifting his gaze on me.
“F*ck off.” I snarled and quickly walk away from him and entered the kitchen immediately, I can hear my own heartbeats, seems like it wants to get out of its cage.
“Hey Jada I heard what you did earlier with those morons, they deserve it!” Henry commented while smiling widely at me.
I ignored him and entered the locker room to change.
How did he know I’m here? Damn.
“Hey, Jada, something wrong?” Taken aback when Henry speaks, he looks worried again.
I shook my head.
“Don’t worry about me Henry, I’ll go home.”
That seemed double meaning for me. What’s the use of hiding here if that f*cking Coleman finally found me already. I should tell Kendra and Trinity about it.
I grab my bag when I successfully changed my clothes. But before I leave the kitchen I shift my gaze at him, he looks confused and watches my every move.
“Thank you for everything Henry, I am resigning.” I gave him a tap on his back, and before he could speak I run out of the shop.
Roaming my eyes around the area to check if he’s still here, but I haven’t seen that monster again, he’s not inside of the shop also when I look at the glass wall of the shop. I entered my car and drove as fast as I can like I was in a race.
I was anxiously looking at the side mirror to check if someone was following me, and I was right. I thought he went home already. But what do I expect from him anyway?
F*ck you Achilles, leave me alone.
Do you want to play? Fine, I’ll give you that.
I speed up my engine and enter a less crowded highway. I can’t go to Kendra’s penthouse for now. I failed to see his face because his car was tinted, but I’m pretty sure it was him after the encounter earlier.
I drifted to the corner, and sigh in relief when I didn’t lose my momentum and keep on my speed. But he’s still following me, I couldn’t even make a distance from him.
When my phone lit up, I cursed when someone was calling. What good timing Trinity. Using my right hand I immediately slide the screen to the side to answer the call.
“Trinity I’m in a race,” I uttered calmly even though deep inside I wanted to tell her who was the man behind me.
“Jada, please go home.”
My forehead creased with the tone of her voice.
“W-why what happened Trinity?” I asked.
“K-Kendra…”
I don’t know why my heart tripled its beat's pace, a strange gut strike me.
“W-what about Kendra?” I asked nervously.
I couldn’t focus on the road anymore so I slowed down a bit, but I didn’t stop, Achilles was still following me.
“She’s missing Jada, Kendra is missing.”
