S2–Chapter 159
Samantha’s POV
The week had finally ended, and it had been exhausting. Romulus kept calling and threatening me, but Flavian said the wiretap was active and they were gathering lots of evidence, including proof of other crimes Romulus was committing, so he’d be arrested again soon. But it was horrible to keep getting his calls and hearing threats, not knowing what to expect.
As if that wasn’t enough, ever since he found out that Edward’s sisters were organizing my bachelorette party, Henry had been pestering me to know what they had planned, why I’d let them organize the party, and if there would be any kind of wild rituals, as he put it. I assured him I knew nothing about it, but that he shouldn’t worry. However, he kept suggesting every five minutes that we should ditch our friends and family and spend time just the two of us. He was driving me crazy with this whole thing, but I wouldn’t budge – I was having my bachelorette party, and it would be fun, he’d just have to deal with it.
I was ready for my bachelorette party at Hebe’s house. Henry wouk drop me off there before meeting up with the guys who had organized his bachelor party. My phone rang, and I knew it was Romulus; he would surely ruin my night. So I decided not to answer. I went downstairs, and my fiancé was waiting with a beautiful smile – how I loved this man.
“Behave yourself, Miss Samantha, remember you’re a committed woman,” Henry warned as he dropped me off at Hebe’s front
door.
“Should I tell you the same?” I asked, amused by his warning.
“Not necessary, since I’m just playing poker with the guys. You, on the other hand, are about to walk into a party organized by Edward’s crazy sisters,” Henry finally voiced his concerns, and I started laughing.
“Relax, my handsome, you know I only have eyes for you.” I pulled him in for a kiss, and he hugged me.
“What do you think about running away from everyone and having our bachelor and bachelorette parties together, just the two of us?” He whispered in my ear after kissing me.
“I think they’d hunt us down and bring us back.” I smiled against his neck.
“Lovebirds, tonight is still bachelorette night, honeymoon’s next week,” Edward came out of the house laughing, accompanied
by Enzo.
“What did your sisters plan, Ed?” Henry asked, clearly very curious, truly obsessed with it.

“No idea! But coming from them, expect the worst. Hebe even sent Clara to sleep at a friend’s house,” Ed added fuel to the fire.
“Sam, you’re not staying here!” Henry grabbed my hand, ready to pull me back to the car.
“Stop right there, Henry! I’m staying and I’m going to have fun. And you, go play poker with your friends and keep wondering what’s happening here – that’s what’s going to entertain me the most.” There was a hint of teasing in my voice.
“You’re mean!” Henry narrowed his eyes at me.
“Don’t you trust me?” I whined.
“With my life!” Henry sighed.
“Well, bye then!” I gave him a quick peck, turned around, and went inside.

When I entered, the girls welcomed me with screams, party horns and applause. Emily approached and placed a headband with a small bridal veil on my head. The decoration was all in red and white and looked beautiful, with lots of roses around the living room, balloons, and a gorgeous table set with what appeared to be delicious snacks.
“Alright, bride–to–be, we’re going to have a super fun and exciting night!” Erica declared, putting a glass of soda in my hand. “Girls, you really outdid yourselves, everything looks beautiful! Thank you!” I said, amazed by their attention to detail. “Thank us later. I’m sure you’ll never forget this night,” Emily pulled me to the center of the room where I received hugs from
