Flavian’s POV

I stood for a while at the kitchen door, watching my little one singing and dancing. She was so distracted she didn’t notice I was there. My heart warmed and beat faster she was perfect for me.

“Caught you daydreaming, little one?” I teased, inaking her jump.

“Big guy, you scared me!” She put her hand on her chest but quickly smiled. “I was daydreaming, but not about what you think.”

“Little one, you’re so adorable.” I hugged her and lifted her up to kiss her, and she wrapped her legs around my waist, surprising me once again. “Is this still the whiskey talking?”

“I can’t lie to a detective. I would love to say yes and maintain my good girl reputation, but the whiskey’s worn off. This is just me becoming more confident and trying to leave the insecure and repressed Manu behind.” There was a cutting honesty in what she said.

“Hmm, I’m enjoying this!” I encouraged her because I really wanted this confident Manu to come out for good – she was stunning, sexy, and full of little surprises that I was loving. “How are you feeling? Do you

remember anything from last night?”

“And why wouldn’t I?”

“You had a glass of whiskey.” She smiled.

“Well, I’m a bit sore, but that’s definitely not from the whiskey. I think that’s from a handsome guy who called me sexy, which I loved, and who fucked me like he was trying to turn me inside out.” She covered her mouth and widened her eyes, making me laugh, then continued. “But maybe you could refresh my memory about last night.”

“Little one, don’t tease me if you’re sore. I might not be able to control myself and get rough with you.”

“Don’t control yourself. I like being sore because you made me this way, because you and only you have been everywhere on my body and marked me as yours. And I loved you taking me like that, as you say, rough and raw.” I really liked hearing that.

“My God, where did you hide this insatiable vixen for so long while managing to stay a virgin until earlier this week?” I asked, amused by her bold behavior.

“Oh, she was locked up, waiting for a gorgeous, rough, raw, and incredibly sexy detective to appear and break her out of her cell.”

“Are you saying it’s my fault you’re turning into a sexy little minx who’s crazy about sex?”

“Entirely your fault.”

I kissed her, enchanted by the transformation I saw taking place in her. She was more relaxed, more daring, and I really liked that. But it was not just that – we were good together both in and out of bed. Manu was an easygoing and light–hearted person who let things flow and cherished every little moment.

After coffee, we took a shower and left home cuddling. On the way to the office, my little one remembered to tell me some news.

“Oh, big guy, I almost forgot.” I found it amusing the way she called me big guy.

“Flavian, you’re big all over, it’s hard to refer to anything specific. But even though I don’t have any reference points except for photos and texts on the internet, you definitely have an above–average dick. So yes, sometimes I might call you big guy for something more specific, but generally I’m referring to all of you.” She spoke so naturally that she left me speechless

“Little one, you’re always surprising me!” I smiled and squeezed her knee. “But tell me, what did you want to say?” I looked at her for a moment.

“Oh, right! You won’t need to pick me up today.”

“And why not? Is Melissa going to keep messing with my life by picking you up every day?”

“No, silly! The dealership called, and I need to pick up my car today.”

“You bought a car?” I asked, somewhat surprised.

“A few days ago.” Her smile was contagious.

“All right. Can we pick it up after work? I’ll take you, we’ll leave your car at home, and I’ll drop you off at college.”

“Flavian, you don’t need to go through all this trouble.”

“It’s no trouble. I just want to take care of my beautiful and naughty little one!” I winked at her, and she looked back at me with a small smile that suggested she was already thinking of things to do with me.

“Okay. Let’s do it after work. Thank you!”

“But, little one, your car will stay in my building’s garage. For now, I’ll continue driving you back and forth.
