Manuela’s POV

I was listening to the music playing in the car and couldn't help myself - Flavian had played these same songs the first time we made love. I was curious whether it had been a random selection or if he had chosen them deliberately.

"These songs..." I looked at him and he was smiling contentedly.

"It's our playlist. I made it for our first night. Thought it would be appropriate for today. Do you like it?"

"I love these songs! Did you select all of them?" I asked curiously. I knew he had planned our first night, but he had been more meticulous than I'd imagined.

"I chose each one of them, it wasn't random," he replied, glancing at me.

"I don't know if I deserve so much," I sighed, happy with what life had given me.

"You deserve much more, Manu! Much more! And I hope I'm worthy of you." Flavian said, looking into my eyes as we stopped at a traffic light. I was so moved I could barely hold back my tears.

We arrived at a tower - I had never been there before, but I knew what it was. It was a super elegant restaurant at the top of the tower with views over the entire city. It was a very exclusive place.

Flavian got out and handed the keys to the valet, quickly coming around to help me out of the car. We took the elevator up to the restaurant, an upscale establishment. We were greeted by a very beautiful but overly forward woman who gave my boyfriend too big of a smile and couldn't take her eyes off him. She led us to a private area at the back of the restaurant, separated by glass walls. To my surprise, all our friends were there, including Detective Bonfim with his wife and Pearl, Sam's mother, with Joaquin.

"I can't believe it!" I was immediately emotional when I entered as they broke into an enthusiastic rendition of "Happy Birthday."

After hugging everyone and receiving gifts from those who hadn't given me presents yet, I finally sat down, with my handsome boyfriend by my side. The evening was delightful - we ate, drank, talked, and when it was time for dessert, they brought out a beautiful two-tiered cake, one tier pink and the top one white, with a cascade of pink and white lisianthus adorning it and lit candles. They also brought out some trays with classic birthday treats and chocolates.

The cake was brought in accompanied by a violinist playing a beautiful melody and was placed in front of me. When the violinist started playing "Happy Birthday," my friends stood up and began to sing and clap.

"Make a wish, Little Key," Melissa said before I blew out the candles. I closed my eyes and wished all my birthdays would be happy ones beside my big guy.

After a really fun night, we got in the car, and I was already eager to show my handsome boyfriend the lingerie I was wearing. He looked at me with a beautiful smile when he got in the car.

"Finally, you're all mine," he said and gave me a quick peck before starting the car. "Are you enjoying your birthday?"

"More than enjoying it! It's the best birthday I could have! Thank you so much for organizing all this for me." I held his face and gave him another kiss.

"I still have a surprise." I looked at him curiously. Who would have thought this man would be so creative and full of surprises?

"You never cease to amaze me! You're thoughtful in everything, thinking of every detail," I said, enchanted with him, and he just smiled. I noticed we were taking a different route. "Aren't we going home?"
