It seems my peaceful days are behind me. Henry finally returned from his trip and gathered the guys for dinner. He wanted news about Samantha, but ended up telling us that her ex-boyfriend had been threatening her and had also made threats against Manu, which drove me crazy.

When I got home, I tried talking to Manu, who simply told me she didn't even remember it. How does someone get threatened and not remember? The little one ended up distracting me with her sexy body, and I let the conversation slide.

But the next day, I was nervous and worried. And the call I received from Sabrina didn't help much.

"Hi, hubby! Have you confirmed that we're still married?" Sabrina was loving keeping me in this situation.

"Sabrina, go back to whatever hole you crawled out of and forget about me!" I snapped and hung up the phone, but it didn't help—it started ringing again.

"You used to be more polite." Sabrina complained. "Flavian, you're my husband, so you should take me to lunch at a nice restaurant and speak to me with more civility."

"Civility my ass, Sabrina! Forget about me, whatever scheme you've cooked up, I'll sort it out. Now go find something to do and leave me alone, I'm working." I didn't need this woman annoying me today.

"You'd better have lunch with me today, Flavian. Or I'll pay a little visit to that nymphet you've been sleeping with." Sabrina had been threatening me too much, and I was already pissed off.

"What do you want, Sabrina? I don't have time for lunch today."

"I want to move into our apartment. That's why I want to have lunch with you. I don't like staying in hotels for so long."

"What apartment of ours?"

"Don't play dumb."

"You're the one who's dumb! Don't you dare come near my house or Manu. If you do, things will get very ugly for you."

"Don't threaten me, Flavian."

"Don't threaten me, Sabrina."

"I'll give you a few hours to calm down, but we'll resolve this by the end of the week."

"By the end of the week, you'll be gone from my life, you devil's curse!"

I hung up the phone with a splitting headache. I left the police station and headed to Alexander's office. We had planned to talk with Samantha about the threats from her ex-boyfriend, but with everything that was happening, I lost control and acted like a jerk to Samantha.

Now my little one was angry with me. When she got home and said she would sleep in the other room, I went crazy. She was pulling away from me, and it really was my fault. She wouldn't even talk to me.

But there was someone else who wanted to talk. Sabrina was calling again. I thought it would be better to see what this woman wanted so she would leave me alone. I went to the hotel where she was staying, answering her fifth call on the way.

"Finally. I was just about ready to go to our house and kick that little nymph out," Sabrina spoke as if she owned the place.

"I told you to stay away from her."

"And I told you I want to talk to you."
