Alexander found Ryan annoying and told him to ask Chester himself. 

“Who did Louis want you to give the money to?” Chester asked. 

“Angelina.” 

“What does that have to do with me?” 

Ryan was speechless when he heard Chester’s reply. “You… don’t care?” 

“Angelina’s business has nothing to do with me. 

“Alright, you said so yourself,” said Ryan. 

Another man was showing that he cared about his wife, and Chester was fine with it? 

Angelina couldn’t get through to Chester. The line was always busy. She was so anxious that she was jumping in place, and her stomach was also starting to hurt. 

Thinking about what Isadora was about to go through, she shuddered. The location wasn’t written in the novel. Where could she find Isadora? 

Chester had just hung up the phone and was fuming. When Angelina called, he didn’t answer or reject it. 

The phone rang again. He accepted the call this time, his face devoid of emotion. 

“Chester, where are you?” 

“Do you need something?” 

He nearly said, “You don’t need to know where I am.” But he held back. 

“Isadora went out to meet her former boss. 

Chester didn’t know what to say to that. 

“What’s the matter? We left the house together just now.” 

“You didn’t stop her?” Angelina asked. 

Stop her? 

Isadora was going out for business. Why would he stop her? 

“What exactly do you want to say?” 

Chester thought, “Has she realized that she has gone too far and is now looking for an excuse to call me?”

Angelina panicked. “Her boss is a man. Isadora told me before that her boss isn’t a good person and often touches her inappropriately. She was too embarrassed to tell you guys. Find a way to contact her, and we’ll search for her together. It’s late. What if something happens to her?” 

“Where are you? 

“At the entrance of the apartment.” 

Chester glanced at the time. “Go home. I’ll search for her.” 

“No, I’ll go with you.” 

“You’re pregnant.” 

“So what? Are you looking down on pregnant women? 

Chester contacted Alexander and found out some details about Isadora’s former boss, and it turned out he had a history. 

Just as they were about to leave to find her, Isadora returned Angelina’s call. “Angelina?”
