Freya
I looked up and was met with the most mesmerizing blue eyes ever. The face which held them looked like it was sculpted by God himself. His blond hair were tousled in a messy way and there was an unmistaken desire in those blue eyes. My mouth watered as my eyes traveled down his body.
He was extraordinarily tall and his body resembled those of the Greek Gods. The white shirt he was wearing stretched on his broad chest which tapered into a narrow waist and then to his hips. His hips narrowed into a pair of strong thighs and then the longest legs I did ever seen.
He was the epitome of beauty and strength and I was unable to tear my eyes away from him. I watched mesmerized as he walked towards me. Everyone gasped in astonishment and moved aside clearing his way as he walked. I clutched my Mom's hand as he drew closer towards us. There was no doubt that I was mated to this devilishly handsome man.
I could feel butterflies flutter in my stomach as the man's eyes traveled over my body. I suddenly felt conscious of my body. It had never happened before because I knew I was the most beautiful girl wherever I went. Right now I was feeling nervous whether or not this beautiful man would like me. My palms started sweating as he halted right in front of me.
I didn't have a wolf who could have declared that this man was my mate but I knew from the way he was looking at me that we were destined, mates. His scent had surrounded me since he was standing a foot away from me. His was the most delicious scent that I had ever smelled and I wanted to jump his bones right now.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Freya," the man spoke.
I was taken by surprise, how did the man know my name? Had we ever met before? I looked at Mom, she pressed my hand comforting me. I was a nervous wreck right now. I was standing in front of the most beautiful man that I had ever seen and he was my mate. I didn't have a clue what I was supposed to do?
The man cleared his throat wanting to draw my attention towards him. I gulped the lump that had formed in my throat and traced my tongue on my dry lips. A rumble arose from his chest at my actions and I couldn't help but feel shy. The way he was looking at me was like he wanted to devour me right here and now.
"Hello," I forced out a hello from my mouth.
"I am Titus Creswell, the future Alpha of the Opal Moon pack," he introduced himself.
I looked at him wide-eyed, was he the future Alpha of the most feared pack? I felt a shiver run down my spine. The Opal Moon pack was famous for its fierceness. They were the strongest of all the packs. I was mated to the future Alpha of the most feared pack?
Wow.
My euphoria crumbled the moment I realized my mate would reject me the moment he finds out that I didn't have a wolf. No Alpha would want a Luna for himself who didn't have a wolf. There could be chances that our children could be like me.
Titus was studying my expression carefully, I still was not sure about this whole mate thing. My Dad walked and halted beside me he was followed by a man who looked like the older version of Titus. Titus's father was Alpha Xander, he was the strongest Alpha in the world. Our packs had recently signed a peace treaty with each other.
"Titus, I see you met Freya," Dad addressed Titus with a delighted tone.
"I did," Titus smile back at my Dad.
"It seems you both are mated with each other," Titus's father spoke in a cold voice.
"It seems that I had finally found my mate. Now I can take over as the Alpha," Titus replied to his father.
"Of course you can, once you both are mated. I am sure your mother will be delighted to have me all to herself," Xander smiled back to his son.
"Xavier, if you don't mind I did like to discuss a few things with you in private," Titus's father addressed my Dad.
My heart sank because I knew what Titus's father will want to discuss with my Dad. Of course, he had heard about me not having a wolf. It would be a surprise if he would agree to accept a future Luna for his pack which didn't have a wolf. This would only make his pack look weak.
"I never thought that I would ever have a mate," I told Titus honestly.
"Why did you think like that?" He asked surprised.
Maybe he didn't know the rumors about me. He had just told that he had been looking for his mate around the world, so it was possible he was not here for the last two years to hear the rumors.
"I don't know, but I just had this feeling," I was not sure if I should tell him that I didn't have a wolf.
I had thought till today that I didn't have any mate like I didn't have a wolf. It could be possible that my wolf could get active sensing her mate. Everything was so confusing and conflicting in my life.
"Every wolf has a mate," Titus told looking in my eyes.
"Yeah, but I just, " I didn't complete my sentence because Titus leaned towards me.
He stopped when his face was just inches from me. I looked at him baffled, was he about to kiss me?
I had never kissed a boy before, this was going to be my first kiss. Till today I haven't had thought that I could have a met. Now I didn't only have a mate but he was handsome as hell and was a future Alpha. I couldn't have asked for more.
I looked at Titus as he leaned closer till his lips were touching mine.
