I wake up to darkness surrounding me I sit up trying to work out where I am. I swing my legs off the bed and flinch as my feet touch the cool floor. I find a light on the bed side table and I flick in on squinting as the bright light fills the room. I notice this room is quiet large than the one I was in before. Dark furniture stands out against the cream walls that surround the room. I take note of the royal blue sheets that brighten up the room. I stand on my two feet and look down to see I am wearing a dark shirt that falls to my knees and hangs off my body. I walk to the door and am greeted with the feeling of family and warmth when I open it. I follow the noises that lead down stairs using the sound of laughter to navaid my way through the house. I hear the sounds of Grace's giggling and hasten my pace until I run into a warm wall.

"Hey watch where you are going." A deep voice growled holding me steady. I step out of his hold and keep my head down showing my submission to whoever is standing before me.

"You are the rouge." He states growling even more. I take another step back as he takes another forward. I whimper as he gets but I refuse to look at him.

"Rick leave the girl alone." The sound of Alpha Felix's voice fill the corridor.

"Yes Alpha." I feel the man brush past me and disappear into a room. There is a silence between the Alpha and I and I can tell he wants to say something but he is holding himself back.

"Clare, it is good to see you up. Would you like me to take you to Conner and Grace." I nod my head at the alpha not daring to look into his eyes. I think he takes note of this because he comes forward lifting my chin so I can look at him.

"Clare don't be afraid to look at me. I am not going to hurt you." He drops his hand and the tension that was in my body before leaves. I look back down at the ground and I hear him sigh. "Let's go them." He doesn't speak rudely but I can hear the frustration that his voice hold.

"How are you feeling?" He ask gently. Everyone in the room has gone back to talking but that doesn't mean they aren't paying attention to us.

"Ok thankyou for everything." My voice is a soft whisper and I look down at my feet because I don't feel worthy to be able to stare up at Conner or any man for that matter. I guess Derek's lessons have been drilled so far into my head that there is no way of breaking them.

"Hey, you don't need to apologise for anything. I will do anything for you and Grace, Clare. You need to understand you are both my life and I will make sure you never ever have to go without again ok." He is holding my face in his hands and staring at me with devotion. My eyes become glassy and I want to look away but I am getting lost the his blue eyes which are drawing me in. I feel Conner lean closer to me and I can feel his breath on my face. My eyes have closed on instinct and I inhale through my nose taking in the unique smell that is Conner. When I feel the faintest touch of his lips on mine, my eyes snap open and I jump away from him. Conner looks confused before he sighs running his fingers through his hair. He goes to open his mouth when a sharp cry fills the room.
