I can feel Anna gazing at me as I listen to Lucy and Karen arguing about the hot werewolf they met the other day.

"I swear he was gay Karen I tell you, my gay radar was off the charts." I chuckle as I watch Karen huff.

"No one that good looking could be gay." Ivy and Anna laugh while I let my eyes shift toward the warriors who are watching us at the moment.

"Clare!" the sound of my name makes me shift back to the women who are all looking at me.

"Sorry." The all give me a small smile.

"So Clare what's it like to be a mother?" Lucy ask. Out of all of us only Ivy and I have a mate with a child. While I have Grace Ivy has her two boys Liam who is 4 and Josh who is 8. I don't really know hot to answer that question because I don't believe I have been a mother at all to Grace. I mean who runs away and becomes a rogue with a child who is no more than a few hours old.

"You grow up fast when you become a mother and you learn to make sacrifices in order to keep you child from harm." They are silent not sure what to say.

"Clare if you don't mind me asking, how old was Grace when you became well- rogue?" Karen ask with a slight tinge of pink on her cheeks. I close my eyes not wanting to think about it. However that didn't stop my mouth from moving. It was like my brain my disconnected from my actions.

"She was 5 minutes old. I gave birth to her and ran." I keep my eyes shut squeezing them together try to rid myself of the memory. A day that should have been celebrated with joy was filled with pain.

"Weren't you in pain from giving birth?" I don't know who asked but I nod my head.

"It was either run or die. My pain didn't matter, as long as my daughter was safe and away from that place, even if it meant becoming a rogue and burning my mark. As long as she was safe." I whisper the last part as I open up my eyes and look at the sky blinking back tears. I feel a set of arms wrap around me and I don't flinch from the touch. I look back at the women to see pity and outrage expressions.

"I-I- d-do-don't know." I know the real reason but I will never tell him that I have been secretly taking the pill.

"I know why." I pulls out my pills from his pocket throwing them at my face. My eyes widen as I look from the pills to Derek's outraged face.

"You have been taking the fucking pill. I want a son and you will give me one. You are my mate!" he demands as he un-zips his jeans.

"No p-p-please don't d-Derek." I want to move but my body is in so much pain as he leans over me shoving his hand up my dress.

"You will give me a son and so god help me if you give me a bitch I will sell her to the highest bidder and make my money out of her by selling her body to lonely wolves who want a young bitch to fuck." I cry out as he slams his body into mine. After he is finished he picks me up in his arms and carries me to the bedroom and lies me on the bed while he runs a bath. He comes back and un-dresses me with such care and puts me gently into the bath washing away all my blood and sore muscle. He places his hands over my stomach with a soft smile on his face.
