"If I ever see that bastard again I am going to rip him limb from limb." I laugh as my wolf agrees.

"I think you have to wait in line. There are a few people in my pack who also want him ripped to shreds." We both laugh and Felix comes in.

"Bill you are welcome to stay in the pack house for as long as you like, you are our welcomed guess." Bill gets up and shakes his hand.

"Thankyou so much for taking care of my daughter, you have no idea how much it means to me." Felix nods and leaves the room. I show Bill to where he is staying before we both go down to dinner.

"She is a cute child." The older man says as we watch Grace play with Karen and Lucy.

"She is, she is amazing just like her mother."

"Dada, bath." I pick up Grace and smile.

"Let's go take a bath in your new room." Her eyes light up and Bill follows us.

"Whoa." He says when he sees her room.

"Yeah we started painting it today. The theme is princess." I walk into her bathroom and run the water. Once the bath is full I undress Grace and put her in along with all her bath toys.

"You are good with her." Bill has a sad smile on his aging face.

"Thankyou." After Grace is finished I dress her and walk back to my room. I walk in quietly and put Grace to bed.

"Goodnight my princess." I kiss head and her eyes start to drop. It isn't long before she is fast asleep. I walk back out the room and down stairs to where all the adults are talking.

"Conner join us." I pick up a bear and walk outside. I sit down on a chair with Felix, Bill and a few other male pack members.

"Conner." She whispers and I freeze not sure if she is awake or asleep. "Come to bed." She rolls over turning her back to me. I quickly take off my clothes jumping into bed with just my boxes. Before I can move Clare towards me she shocks me by doing it herself. She wraps herself around tangling her legs with mine. As she settle into my side, I lay there shocked. I don't know whether she asleep or awake but I don't mind.

"Conner you are thinking too hard." I look down to see Clare slowly opening her eyes. I smile at how at peace she feel and I know it has something to do with the drugs that are still in her body.

"What are you thinking about?" I wrap my arms around her and keep me tight towards my body.

"Nothing, go back to sleep Clare." I close my eyes trying to get to sleep before she can ask any more questions.

"Something is bothering you, I can tell." I sigh knowing that she isn't going to drop it. Clare doesn't ask for much and when she does I feel that I have to answer her.

"Something your father told me." I open my eyes and look at Clare who is looking up at me with a frown on her face. It is almost like she knows what is wrong.
