"Care if you don't want to go I am sure your father will understand." I look up at Conner and shake my head. I need to go.

"You won't leave my side right?" I ask. Conner makes me feel safe and protected.

"Clare do you really have to ask that. You will be glued to my side. You and Grace are never leaving my sight while we are there." I nod my head as someone knocks at the door.

"Are you guys ready to go?" My father ask and I nod my head. Conner grabs our bags while I grab Grace. We load our bag into the car while I take a deep breath. Felix is giving instructions to his third in command while I strap in Grace.

"Hey Clare, we are here to support you." I turn around to see the twins with bags in their hands.

"You don't need to come. It is bad enough that Ivy and Felix are coming." Karen rolls her eyes while Lucy snorts.

"Clare we are coming, end of story." I sigh as the chuck there bags into our car. "We are riding with you." The both jump into the back seat on either side of Grace.

Arms warp around my torso and I jump slightly. "You ready to go?" I turn to face Conner and nod my head.

"Y-y-yes" I stutter as Conner helps me into the car. I sit still willing myself not to panic. Conner gets in the car taking his hand in mine.

"Everything is going to be fine." He starts he car and I begin to panic as he pulls away from the house onto the road. I can feel the sides of the car start to close in on me and it becomes harder to breathe. I start to fumble with my seat belt trying to get it off me.

"Stop the car." I whisper as I finally get my seat belt off. I try to open the door, but a hand stops me.

"Clare, it's fine, I promise it's fine." The car slowly pulls to a stop and someone's phone goes off.

"I can't do it, I can't do it Conner." My rapidly beating heart, hammers against my chest as I try again to open the door.

"Just let it all out. Everything is fine." I stop dry reaching but I don't feel any better. Memories start assaulting my head with each breath I take.

"I want to go home." I whisper to Conner as I lean into him. I feel Conner pick me up and place me back in the car.

"Are you sure Clare." I wait a bit before shaking my head.

"Can I have Grace?" I look at Conner and he nods getting out the car and grabbing Grace from the back seat. The moment I feel Grace in my arms I feel calmer. As Conner starts driving again I sink into my seat with Grace making sure no one can see me.

As we come into town there is no stopping my panic. I can feel werewolf's looking at the car trying to figure out who has come into their territory.

What if Derek was out there? What if he knows I am back? Questions upon questions invade me that I didn't realise that we stopped. I look out my window to see we are at my parents' house. The house I grew up in. I need to get out the car, but I feel safe.
