"Okay, fine, mom, he came over to see me."

A slow grin stretched across my face. "Why?"

"Oh shut up." She hits me with a throw pillow and I double over with laughter. "I thought you weren't hooking up with him anymore."

She sticks her tongue out at me and I sit down beside her. "So how was your date?"

"It was okay, I don't think I'm ready to date though so I told him we can take it slow and get to know each other."

"You're crazy, he's so hot."

"Yeah, but he's not Ian." I tell her.

"I'm sorry." She lays her head on my shoulder and I lay my head on top of hers. "I wish there was something I could do."

"I know. Me too. I can either cut off all communication with Ian and never see him again, or I can act like I'm okay with being friends until I actually am okay with it, if that will ever happen, or I can suck it up and tell him I'm madly in love with him and want to give us a shot, or I could go back to just hooking up with him."

"I would skip telling him you love him, that might scare him off, but you could tell him you want to be more than friends. You can tell him you really like him and want to try dating

him, then after several months of dating you can tell him you love him."

"I've never made the first move before." Guys have always asked me out first. I wouldn't even know how to go about asking him.

"Just think about it and make sure it's what you really want, because after you do that there is no going back. If he doesn't feel the same way it will completely ruin your friendship."

I groan. "I am so screwed. Speaking of being screwed, how was it?"

Her face broke out into a wide grin. "Amazing like always. I had to practically force him out the door though."

"You should've let him stay and hang out."

"He is really funny, Kamdyn." She looks at me. "What are you smiling about? We're not getting together."

"If you say so."

"We're not he's just.....He's so good in bed. Seriously it should be illegal."

"You've got it bad."

"Not as bad as you. You might as well tell Ian how you feel because I think you're too far gone. Even great sex with someone else won't help you move on."

"There is no better sex than with Ian." I tell her.

She laughs. "Honey, there's always someone out there better, you just have to be willing to look and let's face it, you're not. I could talk to Nick and see if he thinks Ian would want to date you."

"Don't you dare! This isn't middle school!"

"It's just a suggestion, geez."

Ian: I'll take your silence as a yes. You're scared to hang out with me. I'm just too good looking for you to trust yourself huh?

Me: Ha Ha you wish.

Ian: Then come over. Prove me wrong.

Ian: I've got a fresh pizza waiting on you.

My phone dings again and it's a picture of him shirtless leaning on his coach holding up a slice of pizza near his mouth. I can't help but laugh, he's persistent I'll give him that.

Ian: It's good, nice and cheesy.

Me: You're cheesy.

Ian: Come be cheesy with me.

Me: Maybe tomorrow.

Ian: How am I supposed to sleep without my snuggle buddy?

"He likes you, Kamdyn. I've never seen him like this and I've known him since we were freshman. He never turns hot girls down, until after he started hooking up with you."

"You really think he likes me?" I couldn't believe it.

"Yeah, I think you should just talk to him."

"See? Even Anna thinks you should tell him."

"Okay. I'll tell him."

"When?" Jess asks.

"Tonight. Maybe. I don't know."

"Yay." Anna claps her hands with excitement. "I really hope you guys get together."

"Me too." I say suddenly nervous. I have to see him tonight. Hopefully I can tell him.

I pick up my phone and send Ian a text.

Me: Okay fine, I'll come over.

Ian: It was the pic right? You never could resist my hard chest.

Me: Ha. Ha. There better still be pizza left.

Ian: So you're just coming over for the pizza? I feel so used.

Me: Of course, you know I have a weakness for pizza. Save me some.

Ian: Yes, ma'am. Be careful.

I suddenly felt so nervous and excited I couldn't stand it. I'm excited to see if he feels the same way but I've also never been more afraid in my life. What if Anna is wrong and he doesn't feel the same way? I wasn't going to think about that. I'm staying optimistic. I quickly put my coat on and grab my keys. I had to fight the urge to drive fast, I was so excited to see him.
