"But I thought...the tingles....", Silas was lost for words.

"It's a long story man and we're going to explain everything to you, inside.", Levin said and Silas nodded but his eyes would not leave mine.

I knew what he needed to hear, "I'm okay, Silas, really!"

Something on my face had had to convince him, because Silas nodded satisfied and turned around to walk inside.

I let out an inaudible breath, because I knew Silas would not be content for long.

Inside Lennart and Levke greated Silas and when they realized that Milena was his mate they were ecstatic.

They understood that Silas still had a lot of questions to ask and we all followed them to Lennart's office, where we told him everything that had went down since I arrived.

"So Levin is Oliver's mate and Nathan, Levin's kidnapped twin brother, is actually Sophia's mate?", Silas summarized the important information.

I nodded my head and Silas' sighed.

"Okay, we're still going to talk about all this", his gaze was locked on Levin and myself, "but right now I've got more important news to share."

My eyes widened, because I actually thought that Silas would not let this whole story slide so easily. Whatever Silas' had found out must be life changing.

Silas' eyes locked on Lennarts and with shame in his voice he adressed him, "Alpha Williams I'm deeply ashamed and sorry to tell you that my father, Alpha Coleman, has hidden important evidence from you concerning the kidnapping of your son, Nathan."

Gasps could be heard in the Alpha's office.

I could feel my heart accelerate, because I could not believe that my father had something to do with my mate's disappearance.

When Silas had brought Levin to our pack and had not acted on his apparent knowledge, my parents had discovered that Silas probably had no idea about their conversation they thought he had overheard years ago. He had been using their fear against them.

"Well played son", my father had said. Now everything made sense.

Silas then had made it his mission to find out how our parents were involved in Nathan's kidnapping. It had taken him two weeks, a lot of no-scent potion, which covered his scent and patience to finally find the eyeball.

At first Silas had not known that the eyeball was linked to Nathan's kidnapping, but then he had actually overheard a conversation between my parents in which our father had said that nothing could be discovered as long as the eyeball was in his possession. He had probably meant to reassure mother, but Silas had then finally figured out that the eyeball could help the Crescent Moon pack to find Nathan.

In a dawn raid Silas had then replaced the original eyeball with someone else's (I had not dared to ask who it belonged to as only the thought made me sick) and then had talked our father into letting him leave in order to gain more allies for another war to come. He had made father believe that he wanted to show father how skilled he had become in the Alpha training camp and my father had believed him.

A cold shiver ran down my spine when I realized how dangerous Silas theft and lies had been. I had no idea if father had really believed him or if he was just keeping tabs on him. Furthermore I still could not believe that father had not punished Silas or at least threatened him for manipulating him and mother for all this years. I let my gaze wander over Silas and not for the first time since his return from the Alpha training camp I realized that something had changed. Not only was Silas way more muscular, but he also gave off a dangerous aura. I knew that my brother would never hurt anyone innocent, but just remembering how murderous he had looked at mother and father at his return made me shiver. Maybe my father realized that he could not punish or threaten Silas as easily as he had punished me or him when he was younger? Or maybe, just maybe my father respected Silas and knew deep down that it would be his downfall if he acted on Silas' past behaviour.
