Dr. Clairence once told me that it would help me to speak more about how harsh my family and pack was, because I would then see with my own eyes that other people would think it was terrible too. They would confirm my deepest suspicions that my parents had treated me horribly all my life and that their behaviour towards me was not usual.
And, of course, Dr. Clairence had been right. Everytime I saw peoples'eyes widen, heard their gasps, noticed the shock on their faces and felt their disgust with my pack it was like a soothing balm for my mental scars.
As soon as Silas had parked his jeep he was out the door trying to get as much distance between Sia and himself as possible. Sia however did not notice and made her way to her brother and Levin, leaving a giggling Milena and myself in the jeep.
I sobered once it struck me that this was the perfect opportunity to question Milena about her and Silas' future.
"Milena, what happens when we're back.", I asked her the question I had yet been too anxious to ask.
As future Luna of the Mercy pack Milena and Silas were expected to return to the Mercy pack, but something inside me told me that they had other plans. Silas had told me yesterday that he had not even notified our parents about finding his mate yet and it had confirmed my suspicions about there being another plan. And something told me that this plan was even more dangerous than Silas' last one.
Milena sighed, turned around in her seat and guiltly looked at me, "I can't say too much, because I promised Silas to not bother you yet, because...well...there's a lot going on in your life."
I smiled shortly at her, because a lot going on was an understatement, but I knew Milena had more to say.
"All I can tell you is that Silas has a plan and after all this, he's going to tell you!", Milena promised me and I saw it in her eyes that she had already tried to convince Silas to tell me.
I sighed, knowing that my brother only wanted to protect me, but I was scared that whatever his plan entailed, was going to be dangerous.
"Hey,", Milena said, having noticed the direction of my thoughts, "everything's going to be fine! Don't worry about others for a change, only worry about yourself right now!"
I nodded my head and looked at the others. All eyes were on me and I realized that they were waiting for me to accept Silas' suggestion.
"Lets find Daria.", I said and everybody nodded their head.
We took a trail close to the woods first until Silas was sure nobody would see us and then we quickly entered the woods. When we were deep inside everybody started to take off their clothes while I sought out more distance as I was uncomfortable changing in front of them. I knew it should not have been something to be embarrassed about, but due to the scars on my back I was more conscious as before about my body.
I stuffed my clothes into a backpack and imagined myself in my white wolf form. Happily my wolf took control and I marvelled at her excitement.
She joined the others and once we were complete Silas took the lead and we followed. During our run I observed the others and their unique fur colour. While Sila's wolf was midnight black, telling everybody that he was an Alpha, Levin's and Oliver's fur colour was an almost identical dark brownish colour. The only characteristic that made it able for me to tell them apart was their eye colour. Sia's wolf had a light brown colour, surprising me because usually witches who still carried the werewolf gene had a lighter colour. At least I read that in a book. Milena's wolf was much like my own pure white, but because she was not of Alpha blood her paws were darker.
