I had no idea were this side of me was coming from, but I cheekily responded, "And it definitely won't be the last."
I giggled at his suprised expression, took his hand in mine again and continued walking to the pack house.
"You're perfect for me.", Nathan lovingly told me and I could feel my heart almost beating out of my chest.
He had no idea how much his words affected me and how much I needed them. However, before I could say anything to Nathan I saw the pack house coming into view and I instantly noticed Milena rushing towards us.
So I squeezed Nathan's hand and said, "You've no idea how much that means to me."
Then Milena was suddenly in front of me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug.
"I'm so glad you're okay! I was worried sick about you!", she told me admonishingly, so I hugged her tighter and apologized.
Silas was next to welcome me back. "Don't ever do that again Ray", he sternly told me and I responded lightly, "I've someone to keep me out of troubles now!"
I then looked at Nathan and the crooked smile he shot my way told me he was more than pleased with my statement.
Levin then pulled me into a hug and I could literally feel how much that bothered Nathan, so I tried to pull back after several seconds, but Levin would not let me.
"Let him swet!", Levin whispered into my ear and I could not help the giggle that escaped my lips.
Instantly I was pulled out of Levin's embrace and found myself in the protective arms of my now furious looking mate.
"That's enough!", he told Levin in a strong voice and I had no idea how but hearing Nathan using this stern voice and seeing how possessive he was, made my heart melt. He really wanted me!
I instantly leaned into his touch which relaxed him, but I could still feel the anger rolling off of him in waves, so I told him so only he could hear, "I'm yours Nathan."
Instantly adoration filled his eyes and his whole body relaxed when he said, "Mine!"
"Already whipped!", Oliver declared right in front of us.
Nathan shot him a menacing look, but Oliver did not let that bother him.
"I'm glad you're back Sophia!", he told me and I felt my eyes fill with tears again.
Before Nathan could act, I quickly stepped out of his arms and into Oliver's. It was a very quick hug, because I did not want to push Nathan.
He seemed grumpy when I stepped into his arms again and I gently pecked his lips which made a small smile appear on his lips.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay?"
Kellan shook his head again and said, "I'm needed at the Full Moon pack again. I just wanted to make sure that your mate isn't a complete moron."
I smiled at his words, making me feel special. "He's perfect!"
Kellan smiled gently at me and responded, "Then the moongoddess has done her job right!"
I hugged Kellan goodbye telling him thank you for everything he had done for me and made him promise to stay in contact with me.
I watched him get in his car again and waved when he looked at me again.
An emotion I could not describe washed over his face, but it was gone in a second replaced by a genuine smile.
When Kellan's car disappeared in the distance I took a deep breath, because for the first time in my life my future seemed sunny and full of rainbows.
Excited to see my mate again I quickly made my way into the dining room. I did not question my feelings for Nathan any longer, I was just glad that he seemed to feel the exact same way for me.
