But right now I'm drawing something's I had from my dream last night of that tortured girl, I woke up crying again last night and as soon as I mind-linked Austin he was with me.

It's warms me to the core with how much he cares for me and it'll only increase when we fully mate. I blush at the dirty thoughts crossing my mind.

Even though Austin and I can chat through mind-link once we mark and mate we can feel each other's emotions, see what they are seeing it thinking and speak in any situations etc.

"Maia." Our teacher says and I look up at him, he is looking at me worriedly. I feel my eyes watering and I wipe them away. "Are you alright?"

"Yes sir." I say closing my book as I see prying eyes around the room trying to see. I stuff it in my bag as the teacher walks back to the front of the classroom.

"Psst." I look up and smile slightly at Louis who is behind me and Lizzie who is beside me.

"You okay?" Louis asks and Lizzie gives me a tell us the truth look.

"Yeah." I say and look at the front of the classroom.

Austin POV:

I grab the burger from my plate and take a satisfying bite before replacing it back on the plate.

I look down at the paperwork that is scattered across my desk and sigh, I push my hand through my hair messing it up slightly.

'Alpha, sir.'

I recognise that voice it's Mr Green, the physics teacher here. Why would he mind-link me? I instantly stand up feeling more alert.

'Yes Pete.'

I answer making sure I sound formal and alpha-like.

'I have a student in class who isn't doing work and is just drawing. She seems out of it and almost crying. What would you like me to do sir?'

Oh.

'Who is it?'

'A student called Maia Adams.'

Oh shit. Well I can't punish her and I can't take her out of lesson, I sigh and try not to laugh but then I realised she was almost crying.

"I think you need to do that with Maia. She has a right to meet her true parents even if they sent her away. They must have a good reason, demand for them to tell you the reason." I say before looking back over the papers.

I flick through some and find another complaint about a teacher in Werewolf School, we've had many complaints over the years of a male teacher abusing a younger female student.

We never got to investigate properly though so it never got solved although the complaints and rumours still come.

The office door opens and I look up. I groan when I see Caleb.

"What the fuck do you want now bro?" I say folding my arms across my chest and he rolls his eyes.

"Calm down, someone's on their man period." He jokes "I only came from class to tell you your mate is acting strange."

I scrunch up my eyebrows, what's up with her today? Was it the nightmare she had last night? Or the new found information about her real family and Jace?

I need her here right now to ask her and to hold her tight, to kiss her and whisper that everything will be alright in her ear.

"Okay thanks Cal." I say picking up a pen and scribbling down some things on a piece of paper. I grit my teeth when I suddenly get a pain all over my body.

"This is what you have to help out with for the next three days, because you are still grounded from planking Felly the cook last week." I say sternly and he snatched the paper off me.
