"Not so bad just....I feel so guilty." She says and gets out a handkerchief to wipe her dump eyes.
"Don't worry I'm sure she'll forgive you." I say comfortingly "I'll just go fetch her." Jenny nods and goes into the living room, I shut the front door and race to find my mate.
I follow her scent to the beach where she is standing in the ocean with her shoes in her hand, I hear her taking deep calming breathes. I walk up to her but avoid the sea water.
"Maia." I say softly and she turn her head to look at me. My heart cracks at the tears in her eyes and I feel so bad that I can't protect her from this.
"They are anxious to meet you." I say as she walks towards me, as soon as she is in reach I pull her into my embrace. I hold her tightly.
"I want to meet them but what if they don't like me Aus? I can't handle thinking they hate me again. I've had to deal with that once I don't want to do it again." She says into my chest.
"Shh baby it okay," I rub her back gently "they will love you. You a beautiful young lady who has achieved so much and is a Luna. Even if you only went to two classes since you arrived."
She laughs softly and looks up at me, I smile and she leans up to peck my lips.
"You always cheer me up." She says smirking before leaving my arms but taking my hand instead. We walk up to the house again and I feel her heart skyrocket as we enter the house.
I notice the living room is empty so listen carefully, I hear voices from the kitchen so I turn and lead us there. When we enter the chatting died instantly and all eyes are on Maia.

Maia POV:
I held onto Austin's hand tightly as I felt everyone's eyes on me. I glanced around and saw Jace looking rather nervous, I feel Austin's emotions clear through the mind link since we mated.
He is feeling happy yet nervous at he same time. I see my mom crying silently while looking over me, I glance at me father who is just staring at me but I notice the glistening wetness in his eyes.
"Hello," I say quietly "Mr and Mrs Adams I'm your daughter, Maia Athena Lily Adams."
I get enough courage to drop Austin's hand and step forward. Austin passes me and stands the opposite side of the room.
Everyone else is still for a minute before my mom comes racing towards me, she wraps her comforting arms around me.
"I know but it's okay." I say and she looks at me "I was moved to another place that well ruined my life but then I came here and everything got better. I even got to meet you."
She smiles but then my father walks in with a frown stitched on his face. I look at him in confusion.
"What do you mean 'ruined your life'?" He asks and I can see the protective father side showing already and he only just properly met me.
Shit. Uh....
Suddenly Austin calls and we turn to find food set out in the table ready for us. I give Austin a fearful look and he gestures for me to come to him.
I step out of my parents hold and they sit down, I make my way to Austin and sigh when we finally touch.
'Don't worry but we will have to tell them. They have a right to know as your parents love.'
He says making me gulp down my nerves but they wouldn't go away. I don't want them to blame themselves for anything.
