I tuck into my pizza feeling the cheesy goodness full my mouth, I moan mentally making Austin let out a low growl. Oops mindlink is open.
'Sorry!'
I say and stifle a laugh.
"Maia," my father says across the table making me look up at him "you didn't answer my question."
I turn to Austin who grabs my hand and nods at me. I look at my parents who are giving each other fearful glances along with Jace.
"Maia?" Jace says slowly "what happened to you in that school?"
"Remember that teacher we got complaints about?" Austin says "the one who was accused of severely beating up a child at their school?"
My mom, dad and Jace all gasp loudly and I hear cutlery drop into the tiled floor, I move my piece of pizza with my fork nervously.
"No..." My mom says looking at me "I-I-"
My father looks absolutely furious and Jace looks ready to rip someone's throat out. I sigh and look at them with a sad smile.
"It's the past now, I don't like remembering it. Good thing he is out of the picture and I have Austin and my family. You have to know I don't blame you for this at all and you shouldn't blame yourselves either." I say.
A week has passed since meeting my parents and we are currently in the car on the way back to the pack grounds.
We weren't meant to stay this long but because I was in heat Austin wanted to keep me away fro the other males and tend to my 'needs' alone.
I had so much fun. We relaxed on the white sand and swam in the ocean for ages, we also found a cove where you can jump off the high rocks into open deep water.
I found my time with Austin amazing and I didn't want it to ever end but it has. I am glad to be going back home, now as the completely official marked and mated Luna.
"You alright Maia?" Austin asks reaching over and grabbing my fidgeting hands, I smile and nod.
"Yeah I'm fine just have a bad feeling." I say whispering the end, since about 10 minutes ago I have this gut twisting feeling. My nerves are on the edge while my wolf is on high alert.
"Don't worry we are 5 minutes from the pack borders." He says steering the car around a corner, I watch the trees fly past as we speed down the silent road.
Wait no it isn't silent, there is a car coming in the opposite direction. Towards us instead of away for us. Wait no it's heading exactly towards us, and it isn't stopping but speeding up.
'Send search parties sour EVERYWHERE. Luna has been captured!' I say through pack link to all pack members.
I shift ignoring the rain battering on my back and race into the forest trying to find some trace of my missing mate.
After an hour I still could t find anything, no footprints, no tire mark and no scents. I let out a broke howl.
'Alpha,' someone mind links me and I think it is Tyson 'we have got the rogue who hit you with the car, he is alive'
I growl and take no time in racing towards the cells, this rogue is about to feel my wolf and I's wrath and I don't care about the consequences right now.

Maia POV:
I wake up unable to move and feeling extremely uncomfortable. My wrists are burning and I hear laughing, slowly I open my heavy eyelids.
Instead of waking up at the car crash I am deep in the woods surrounded by laughing men who are all sat by the fire.
