Nurses running the same direction as me, injured patients wondering around, Receptionists on the phone.

I finally make it to my mates room and my breathe hitches in my throat. Blood and wires cover her body as many doctors and nurses crowd around her.

Doc John, the best doctor we have, walks up to me and pushes me back into a chair. I say nothing just stare at my mate hoping she'll be okay.

Doc sticks a needle in my arms and starts drains blood from myself straight into Maia's wrist. I reach over and grab her hand.

"Please be okay. Please be okay." I say over and over again against her limp hand. Everyone stills as they stare at the heart monitor, it's a straight line beeping non-stop.

'I love you.' I mind link her trying to boost her wolf out, I hold her hand tightly and watch her face.

Beep.

The heart monitor makes a noise and the line spikes. I stand up abruptly making he chair fall but I couldn't care less, the IV still connects us.

'Come on love!' I encourage.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

The heart monitor keeps beeping and I let out the biggest sigh of relief, my mate isn't dead she is okay.

'Rest now babe.' I whisper kissing her forehead before picking the chair up and bringing it closer to her bed.

Doc walks around her checking everything and sticking up the dagger wound on her side.

"It's silver," he says to me once he is finished "werewolf healing cannot work on it, this will heal at human pace maybe slightly quicker if she is strong enough. There is also wolfsbane in her blood but I managed to drain it out of her."

"Thank you!" I say happily "thank you." He smiles then takes off the IV saying she'd had enough. He bows his head before leaving me in the room with my unconscious mate.

I can't believe I finally have her back in my arms, after a while week. I died inside when her heart stopped and I never want that again, she is my everything and I love her.

There is a knock on the door making me growl slightly but I hear Jace's familiar voice and relax.

"You'll be okay." I whisper sitting on the chair and taking her hand. I lean back and let sleep take over.

Black. The colour of the night, the cockpit of death itself. The colour that many people believe is dark and evil.

That's all I can see. Black. Nothing seems right, there are no other people here just me. I'm all alone and I can't see wall or doors or even a floor.

How am I standing without a floor?

I try and walk but each step it turns darker but there is a glowing light coming from me. I look down at myself and gasp, there is nothing there.

Is this just my conscious mind dreaming? No. Well maybe. Must be. I guess.

I jump mentally as sparks warms my hand, I know that feeling anywhere. Austin, he is here well where ever I am in real life anyway.

"Maia," he whispers and I feel warm breath against my ear making me smile "you have to wake up now, I need you. I need you to wake up so we can be like we use to be. Before...all this happened."

I try to reply but my mouth isn't reacting, I try harder but it ends in pain. I whimper internally feeling myself weaken. I need my wolf back, she is there but she is extremely weak.
