"Where are my folks and Jace?" I ask interrupting their conversations by accident.

"Jace is out working considering Austin has been MIA, staying by your bedside and refusing to move for two days." Kate says smiling.

"Wait how long have I been gone?" I ask curiously, I still have no idea.

"You were missing for a whole week and when you got back 2 days ago you were seriously injured, you got brought here and got treated but stayed coma-like for 2 days." Louis says rubbing my arm comfortingly.

"Oh." I say leaning back. So I missed a whole week here from being with those hunters. I wonder how Austin got on, because I know I felt my heart breaking from being so far away.

I want him here, I need him right now. I stand up and pace slightly, out of the corner of my eye I see Louis stand up and move next to me.

'Austin?' I mind link him and I sigh in relief when he answers immediately.

'Yes babe?' He says and I can practically hear him smiling.

'I need you. Please take me home.' I say

'I'm on my way, I'll literally be 2 minutes love.' He says then I leave my mind and come back to the real world.

I suddenly feel a wave of exhaustion hit me, my knees buckle and I land in Louis' arms.

"Quick sit her down!" I hear Nate order and I soon feel the cold metal against my bum. I grab my head and grit my teeth.

"I'm okay." I say when I hear them trying to call a nurse. "I'm just really tired."

They all stare at me for the next few minutes while I hold my head in my hands and breathe deeply.

"Maia?!" Someone's worried voice fills my ears and I smile. I look up to see Austin rushing towards me, dodging nurses and doctors who are rushing around.

"Austin" I breathe out, I stand up and run -well he ran- into his welcoming arms. I hadn't gotten to do this earlier on because he had to talk to Doc.

I stand still savouring the feeling of his arms tightly around my waist, thinking about how much I imagined this while with those hunters.

Everytime they cut me, to deal with the pain I would think about Austin holding me tightly against his chest.

Everytime they electrocuted me, to deal with the pain I would think about Austin waking me up in the morning with a kiss.

I rest my head on his shoulder relaxing instantly, he rubs my arm softly while placing a kiss on my forehead.

"I'm alright." I whisper watching the clear night sky filled with sparkling stars dancing millions and millions and millions of years away. Burning.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks making my whole body tense, the reason I came out here was to get away from those questions.

That's all everyone has asked me, wanting every detail but it hurts to look back. I don't want to retell it because it will be like living it again and I can't go through that.

"It's such a beautiful night." I say changing the topic, he sighs and shakes his head but chuckles.

"Not as beautiful as you." He says leaning forward slightly his eyes darting to my lips.

"I've missed you so much Austin." I say climbing onto his lap and wrapping my arms around his neck, straddling him.

"I missed you too Maia." He says kissing me "I love you so much." Then it turns into a passionate kiss making my whole body tingle. I break the kiss and stare deep into his lustful eyes.

"I love you." I say and crash out lips together once more.
