"Your welcome." I hear them both shout before the door shuts.

After emptying my bladder and washing my hands I sit on the edge of the bathtub. Everything is fine, there is nothing to worry about.

'Yeah it's not like we are about to meet every Alpha and Luna. And to add to that they are all experienced and friends probably.'

My wolf says in my mind making my stomach flip. I mentally curse her then block her off as much as I can but not completely.

I run my hands down my face to try and wipe off the sudden stress, but instead I notice something. Something clinging to the open window as the wind moves it frantically around.

Slowly I move towards it and grip the paper in my hand. It's an envelope. I turn it over and see my name written in neat writing.

I slowly open it up, what could this be?

'Dear Maia, I'm sorry I can't be there with you considering I've been to so many balls and proms with you over the years together. But I thought this present would be better. Hope you like it and enjoy tonight. Love Tyson..'

I can't help the wide grin filling up my face as I read over his neat hand written letter. Tyson has always been a brother to me, he took me to balls and proms because he wouldn't allow me to go with any random boy who just wanted sex.

I tip the envelope out and find a bracelet. Just a simple band, but on the inside there is engraved writing. It's reads; 'To my bestest friend Maia, I love you as a sister and I promise to protect you. Love Ty.'

I suddenly hear a knock on the bathroom door making me just halfway to the moon and back. I quickly pull on the bracelet and leave the letter on the side of the bathtub.

Thanks Ty. Love you too.

I say mentally as I open the bathroom door, a maid stands there in her black and white outfit smiling.

"Hello." I greet leaning against the door smiling back.

"Morning Luna," she bows her head "alpha sent me to make sure you were alright."

"Uh," I says smiling "I'm fine thanks."

She nods and leaves without another word, well alright then. That wasn't weird or anything...

I turn towards the door and swing it open, a fresh breeze from the window opposite flys over my face and I sigh in content.

I turn out the door, making sure to shut it, then walk down the corridor fiddling with my hand nervously. I feel my dress flowing behind me making me feel like a princess I use to read about.

At the end of the corridor, just as planned, stood a very dazzling Rose and a very formal Ava. Rose's dress is long and dark blue with sequins sprinkled over the entire dress.

"Gosh Maia, you look amazing!" Rose says happily giving me an awkward hug, I laugh and squeeze her back.

"Look at you Rose!" I say smirking as she blushes, I grab her hand and spin her around. She laughs and stops me from doing it again.

"This is your first ball Maia!" Ava exclaims as Rose links arms with me and we start walking down the hallways. Ava leaves us on the way to meet with her husband.

We all stay silent as we walk through corridors towards the grand hall. Rose and I will be the last to enter as she is the hostess and I am the newest.

Through the doors there is a pair of stairs, at the bottom of one with be Austin and the other will be Jason. Rose and I walk out then separate on the stairs.
