"I-I'm fine." I gulp as my head starts pounding once again, it's stopped when I touched Austin. It's the mate bond.

"Well I have stationed some guards outside the door so if anything happens to you just shout." He says caressing my cheek gently.

"I'm not a baby, I can take care of myself Austin. I don't need guards." I say getting annoyed by all this new attention I'm getting, it'll only get worse when I'm announce as Luna.

"I bet you can take care of yourself, but you are future Luna, even if nobody knows we still have to take precautions. I could never live with myself if anything was to happen to you." Austin say then places a kiss to my forehead and I smile.

He stands up and steps back slightly and I smile following him up. But bad idea, I got up too quickly making myself sway and fall but Austin catches me in time.

He picks me up and lays me softly on my bed. He whispers soothing words to me and slowly, well after about an hour, I start feeling more like myself.

**

I glance at the digital clock on my bedside table.

5:56am

I roll over in bed unable to catch my sleep, my wolf is uneasy because Austin isn't with us. She wants him and so do I because since he left last night I haven't heard from him.

I huff in frustration and throw the covers off my hot body. I'm really hot which is just a sign from my wolf, that I she wants to mate Austin now.

I sigh and run my hands down my face. I stand up letting my bare feet hit the cool carpeted floor, I pull down my pj shorts that have ridden up slightly and rearrange my jumper.

Yes I wear jumpers and pj shorts to bed. Don't judge me.

I sluggishly make my way to the walk-in closet and sit on the comfy chair that's placed inside. I look over each piece of clothing hanging up before deciding on my outfit.

I grab some black ripped jeans, a white jumper and a black vest top for underneath. I grab a pair of white converse and pull them on.

I make my way to the bathroom and pig on some of my make up. I pull my hair up into a bun with a plait going through the side of my head.

I jump slightly as there is a knock on my door, I put down my phone that I'm currently holding and make my way to the door.

I open it slowly and smile when I see Lizzie on the other side. She smiles happily at me and I let her step in.

"Excited?! First day!" She squeals and clutches her books to her chest and her back hangs from one shoulder.

"I'm Maia," I say "so. You any good at calculus?" He laughs and I can't help but join, his laugh is contagious.

"No fuçking way!" He smirks evilly "guess I'll have to copy you..."

"Haha in your dreams dumbass." I laugh and he gives me a playful glare.

"I'm no dumbass, but your princess dumbass." He chuckles deeply "haha I like that princess dumbass. That's your new nickname."

I groan and punch him on the arm. When he grunts I look at him with an innocent smile. Before he can answer the teacher walks in, a very lanky elderly man.

"Hello students, I see we have a new student today. Maia Adams. My name is Mr. Tendon, would you like to tell us something about yourself?" He says spotting me and I feel myself freeze.

I hate public speaking.

I slowly stand up from pressure mostly and smile nervously "Hi, I'm Maia. I was chosen to attend here. And I'm happy to be here."

"Thank you Maia, now sit please and we shall begin."
