I sit down with a rather loud sigh of relief, the teachers always give me the spotlight. I mean yes I'm pretty good at all classes - except calculus - but I don't answer questions.

I notice Louis lean closet and he says "princess dumbass has stage fright?"

After 4 classes we finally had lunch break, I slam my books down on the lunch table and groan. I'm so tired, I never knew how much work this would be.

Plus Luna duties...

I look around my lunch table to my new friends; Liz, Louis, Christian (physics partner), Kaitlin (Liz's twin) and Nate (voice partner).

We've all grown really close in the past, what? 5 hours?

I pull my tray closer to myself and looks down hungrily at my burger. I pick it up and take a satisfying bite letting the delicious taste make my tastebuds dance.

Louis, who is next to me, takes a sip of my soda and I growl lowly at him. I slap his hand as he goes for another sip and move to myself.

"Oh common princess!" He complains reaching for it again but I growl playfully again moving it further away from him.

"No thank you fatass." I say taking another bite from my burger, but I drop it when Louis jumps at me and tickles me.

I hop off my seat and run out the canteen clutching my soda as he follows. I laugh and throw it at him, it hits him in the face and squirts all over his top.

"I'm going to get you princess!!" He glares at me.

"Oh shit!" I say and turn to run but crash into someone instead. I shake my head gaining my senses back "sorry."

I tense when I recognise the scent and my wolf bouncing up and down. I look up to see Austin and I glance at everyone around us.

I bow my head and take a step back. "Alpha." I say respectively before turning away to where Louis stands and laugh.

"Maia."

I look over my shoulder at a very unemotional Austin. He motions for me to come forward and slowly I do after giving Louis a quick glance.

"Oh it's on you little asswipes!" I shout and they all smile innocently.

"Man I'm going to shower, this soda is sticky as fuçk." Louis grumbles then leaves probably to go back to his dorm. I time back to the others and remember something I was going to ask them.

"So guys," I start gaining all of their attention "what happens about shifting around here?"

"Well obviously you can't shift inside or during a class because it counts as skipping. But any other time your allowed but your not allowed near borders for safety reasons." Kaitlin answers then shoving a potato chip into her mouth.

I nod in understanding and then I hear the bell ring. Oh great...

"Coming Maia?" Christian asks slinging his bag in his shoulder starting to follow the others out.

"No," I shake my head grabbing my own bag "but I'll see you in Phys Ed."

He nods and walks off to class while I walk the opposite way to my classroom to head towards the office of my mate, my wolf is beaming brightly at he face she'll be able to see our mate again.

When we get there I step in front of the door and reach out to knock but the door swings open violently and an arm drags me in. Another loud slam indicates that the door has shut.
