More wolves all jump on me at once, they all bite and scratch at me. I growl and try to shake them off, one swings at my head making it whip to the side.

Everything blurs and I fall to the floor now in human form, my ears ring dangerously loud in my ear. An image floats into my head and I smile, Maia.

"This place is amazing!" She exclaims as we come into view of the waterfall that connects to a large lake. She drops the backpack she was carrying and runs to the edge.

I chuckle and place my backpack next to hers, she laughs and spins near the bottom of the waterfall. I watch the spray hit her face as it beams at me.

I walk to her and as soon as I'm in reach I hold her waist in my hands.

"You are amazing Mai." I say leaning down and capturing her lips with mine. Her soft lips move perfectly with my own, I feel her arms wrap around my neck and smile.

I bring her body impossibly closer to my own until we are one person. Our kisses strong and passionate. It holds so much emotion and love that it makes the whole world stop.

This is us. Stopped in this moment forever. With no worries but with each other.

She pulls away and breaths heavily while leaning her forehead against mine.

"Austin?" She says starring straight into my eyes then back down to her feet.

"Yes." I whisper kissing her forehead and leaning back to look at her.

"You do love me, don't you?" She asks so quietly I only just catch it. I look at her in shock, is she doubting our love? Am I treating her wrongly?

"Of course I love you Mai. There are no words that describe how much. You are mine and I am yours, forever." I say pecking her lips.

"Forever." She breathes out smiling and finally looking at me.

"Come on," I say pushing her a few inches further away, she stares at me confused "let's go for a swim."

Before she can disagree, I pull the dress she is wearing over her head and throw it on the floor. She squeals and slaps my chest.

"Austin!"

I chuckle and look at her, taking in every dip and curve. Considering she is only in a bikini it's easy to see basically everything.

I made her wear a bikini before coming out, she questioned and I ignored. But soon she finally did what I asked.

"Your turn." She whispers in my ear and slowly takes my shirt off leaving me in my bathing shorts. Her hands take over my naked chest making me shiver in delight.

"Don't tease me love." I say throwing her over my shoulder, I slap her behind making her squeal again.

I look as he stands in front of me and snarl angrily. In front of me stands a evilly smirking Dark One who killed my mate.

He has a death wish.

Austin's POV:

I snarl and try to escape the hold of the rogues but they aren't holding me down, the Dark One is.

His arms are held out towards me and he smirks. I try to get up with all my strength and I see his smirk falter but it quickly comes back when I slump to the floor.

"Good dog." He sneers making a growl bubble deep inside me.

"What do you want?!" I snap at him.

"Isn't it clear?" He asks laughing evilly, he walks around me and all the rogues laugh. I watch as they all restrain my pack members.

"Obviously not!" I shout back as he keeps circling me, I growl when he steps closer.

"I killed your mate." He laughs and I feel the ground shake at the snarl the leaves my lips. My whole body shakes in anger. "Now I'm here to kill all of you, I hate packs of werewolves. We should be free. My friends agree with me."
