Estelle's POV

When I awoke to the early morning sunlight, there was a familiar ceiling in front of me. I got up from the pile of covers and found myself back at Lance's villa.

"You're awake?" Lance's voice came from the doorway "If you keep sleeping, I might have to take you to the hospital."

"When did I fall asleep?" I looked down at my wrist and there was nothing there. So everything last night was a dream? It was as if I was compelled by Noah's eyes to enter that dream with a hint of ambiguity and absurdity.

"You were asleep in the house when I was going to take you home. Didn't wake you up, so I carried you straight back."

"I was carried all the way back by you?"

"Yes." Lance said on a cloud of emotion.

This is so! The most humiliating moment of my life was seen by Lance. My memory is still stuck on Noah and Lance's negotiations. I hope I wasn't drooling over the fancy fabric of his dress.

I picked up the phone by my bed and Nathan called me a dozen times. His message told me that my father had come home. Shit, I had to go home and ask what the hell he was doing. Because the way Lance looked at me had been horrifying.

Nervousness scratched my heart, how do I tell him that the reason I ran out during martial law was to find my father who disappeared during martial law. Now at a time like this, my father could very well be treated as a traitor because of this. The death of those werewolves would even be counted on his head. I didn't dare to think any further.

"Last night." Lance's cold voice made me breathe hard. "Why were you there."

"I... took a walk and accidentally ran there." I try not to sound too heartfelt, but my lies always get punctured.

"Why are you running out?" Lance pinched his brow, and I knew he was going to be angry.

"Don't lie to me!" Lance's voice had trembled slightly from the suppressed anger.

"......" I didn't answer, I couldn't let my father become a suspect and be tortured by them.

"Talk!" Lance exploded in the face of my silence, rushing up to me wracked with rage. His hands held my shoulders.

"I don't want to be locked up by you." I made a random excuse, but that made him even angrier.

Lance pressed me back into bed, his fingers about to pinch into my shoulder, and in addition to the pain I had to endure the pressure from the Alpha. He looked abnormal, and normally he would not have done anything to me even if he was angry.

I was forced to look into his eyes, and the green aura on Lance's irises burned bright with rage, and then there was a rich blackness covering the entirety of his eyes. That meant Balder was coming out.

"Hell no," I said, not knowing how to control the beast, and Artemis howled in my head.

"Don't come out and make a mess at a time like this!" I drove Artemis back into the depths of my mind. Taking advantage of Balder's unstable condition, I stomped away from his chest with my foot as hard as I could.

I stumbled out of the bedroom, Balder chasing after me unhurriedly. A meaningful sound escaped his throat, and his black eyes were like an abyss, like he wanted to bury everyone he saw in them.

"Lance!" I yelled his name, but the beast in front of me still looked like he was ready to hunt. I had no idea that this event could cause such a mood swing in Lance. I realized that Lance might not be able to stop Balder this time.

The black fur slowly covered Lance's body, and his clothes were shredded by the huge body of the giant wolf. balder completed his transformation, and a big black wolf two meters tall appeared in front of me.

It was the first time I saw Lance in his wolf form, and I froze in place. It was fear from physical instinct, and he could have snapped my neck with one bite. I took a step backward and Balder lunged directly at me.

The big wolf's heavy body pressed down on me and I felt my ribs break a few times. balder tore at the clothes on my body, but his claws and teeth scratched my skin. Blood continued to seep from the wounds. This beast couldn't control his power! In order to survive, I also turned into the form of a wolf.

I struggled under Balder and I bit on one of his front paws and he howled in pain. I immediately ran out from under him. This action angered Balder, who circled around me, waiting for a moment to get his mouth on me.

Suddenly, Balder rushed up behind me diagonally, and I tangled with him. But my strength was completely outweighed by the big wolf, and he bit me on the hind leg, and the stabbing pain made me black out.
