"I wanted to ask if you would be able to see the pack doctor for me?" I shake my head. I will not see a doctor. Ever. I remember what happened last time I went to my pack doctor.
It was a while before I went to see the pack doctor. I thought I could deal with the pain Derek inflicted but this time it was taken a bit too far. I knew he loved me, so I never said anything. I stumbled my way to the pack doctor who looked at me when I came in.
My forehead was bleeding and dried blood had started to crust under my nose. I was sure that my wrist was broken as it caused so much pain to move it. They pack doctor looked me up and down before he laughed.
"What do you want me to do? Go back home to Derek, Clare." I was shocked. He was the pack doctor and my best friend and he wouldn't help me.
"Please at least give me something for the pain." I tried hard not to sob. My throat was sore and tight and I knew a bruise was starting to form around my neck where he grabbed me too hard.
"No. Go back to Derek you worthless slut." I felt tears build up in my eyes as he shut the door on my face locking me out. I sat in the room crying before I got up very painfully. I limped all the way back home ignoring the stares from the other pack members. I walked into the house to see a furious Derek.
"I told you to clean up the mess." He slapped me across the face and I stayed silent.
"I am sorry Derek. I will do it now. I love you." I whispered the last part and went to clean up my own blood with a broken wrist.
I open my eyes trying to rid myself of that memory. My pact doctor never helped me when I was hurt. I went to him many times with broken bones, cut that needed closing but every time I got the door slammed on my face. I look to see Conner conflicted with what to do.
"Can you tell me what pack this is." I needed to know just how far away I was from my old pack.
"Red moon pack." He said proudly and I nodded as if it meant something important. I was a long, long way from my old pack silver shadow pack. It took me a year to get here. Take an 8 hour flight and you will be at my old pack. I look for Grace to see her crawling her way over to me.
"When was the last time you ate?" Conner ask looking at me.
"Help!" I yelled as I held her cold body in my arms. Felix came rushing out with Ivy behind me and mind linked the pack doctor.
"Ivy you look after the child, Conner pack doctor." I get off the floor with an extremely light Clare in my arms. Grace is crying trying to follow us. I quickly look at the pup then her mother in my arms.
"You be good for Luna ok. I am going to make mummy better." Grace stops crying and I take that as my cue to sprint up to the pack doctor who is waiting for us.
"Lay her down Conner." I place her on the bed brushing hair off her thin pale face. I watched as the doctor checks for her pulse and watch as he became frantic.
"Alpha, Beta you are going to have to leave." I shake my head at the doctor as Felix pulls me out of the room.
"It's for the best Conner, trust me." We both sit down outside in the pack hospital with me bouncing my leg up and down. My wolf is impatient with the need to look after our mate. We are not sitting for long before Ivy come running into the room with a screaming Grace.
