Apprehended By My Mate novel Chapter 7

"Why don't we get you two settled in. I can have some clothes bought in for the both of you. Ivy can you take them to a guest room. Conner come with me." Alpha Felix commanded and I was lead away from Conner and Alpha Felix. Ivy didn't say anything as she showed me what was what. When she left the room. I bathed Grace before putting her into the large bed. Once Grace was settled down I took my first shower in a whole year. I would usually wash in a river or pond whenever we would cross one. I washed my hair which took a while to brush out all the knots.

As I walked out the shower I noticed just how much weight I had lost over the year. You can see the outline of my hip bones and my legs are no longer shapely but thin. My stomach is flat in an unhealthy way. My rib cage is more predominant. My breast have become smaller and I have very little butt. I wasn't pretty to begin with my I look sick. My skin is so pale it is almost transparent and I noticed I didn't have as much hair as before. My skin and hair have no life or colour. The scare on my face running from the top of my nose to chin stands out like a flashing sign. I am a walking corpse. If vampires were real I am sure they would look like me. For the first time in a long time I sink into the floor and cry for myself. My body is damaged, my mind is damaged. My heart is damaged. The only thing keeping me alive is my angle sleeping. I get myself off the floor and take one last glance.

"Pathetic bitch you don't know how to do anything right. Why would your mate want a used and damaged you?" I hear his voice and laugh inside my head causing me to shut down all emotions completely. I dress in some of Ivy's cloths which fall off me which is say something because Ivy is tiny. I put my hair up and crawl in next to my sleeping angel.

Conner POV

I could smell her the moment she walked into the house. The smell of woods and lemons making my wolf go bat shit crazy. I was about to hunt her done when Felix mind linked me wanting to talk about the supposed rogue that was in out cellars. When I walked into his office I saw him pacing. Something I haven't seen him do since Ivy was kidnaped.

"What's wrong Felix? The rogue giving you trouble?" I laugh but Felix didn't. I stopped laughing and placed my hand on his shoulder. I could feel that his wolf was agitated which in return made me anxious.

"Well depeneds on what trouble. I walked into the cellar thinking all hell was going to break lose to see that the rogue was a young women with a very young child." I couldn't help but gasp. Female rogues were rare to come by but a female rogue with a young child is as rare as saying you saw the moon goddess.

"I need to go and see if she is ok. You coming?" Felix ask and I shake my head. I watch as my alpha leave and I shake my body trying to calm my bloody wolf down. I waited a few minutes before I followed the smell of my mate. As I walked into the lounge room I couldn't help but hear Felix talking about the rogue.

Her smell became so strong that I was struggling to keep my wolf in control who wanted to run in and mark her as mine. As I walked into the room I stopped when I smelt the rogue. All I could see was the back of her head and I already felt sorry for the young women.

"Conner come here and meet the rogue." I walked around into the room and stopped the moment I saw her. My wolf was panting in excitement running a riot inside of my head. The moment she looks at me the whole world falls away. I am enhanced in those brown eyes that are gazing at me. My wolf growls at me to claim her.
