Estelle's POV

It was this weird dream again, I was lying in a jungle of roses. Thorns were climbing up from the bottom of my feet and wrapping around my neck. The more I struggled, the tighter the thorns became. The pain was accompanied by a feeling of suffocation, forcing me to wake up from the dream.

I was lying on a large bed, the silk sheets giving my skin a cool touch. I lifted the covers and got up from the bed, the ostrich feather carpet soft under my feet. I tried to open the door to the room, but it was locked tight. Other than that, there was no exit from this room. There were walls on all sides and not even a window.

Suddenly there was the sound of a door locking outside the door and I hid in a corner, ready for battle.

"You recovered faster than I thought." The man who entered had soft platinum blonde hair, porcelain white skin and delicate features that made him look like a royal prince.

Damn Noah! "What did you do to me?"

Noah sat in the recliner and looked at me, "I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't do anything."

"Don't pretend! Because of you, I've become a vampire."

"Isn't it because you're half vampire in the first place?" He looked at me with such a critical eye that I wanted to gouge his eyes out.

"If it weren't for that damn vampire mark, I wouldn't have suddenly awakened."

"That mark is only temporary, I can't mark you permanently." Noah spread his hands.

I looked down at my wrist and the red markings had disappeared. "But you confused me and bit my wrist!"

"It's just hard to control your emotions. But your growth rate really surprised me, only a month has passed and you can command low level vampires."

In my desperation, my spirit exploded with a burst of power. I brought together the disorganized spirits of the vampire pack and they could only follow my instructions. Before my consciousness dissipated, I saved Anthony. not knowing what happened to him.

Anthony, Moon Lake. I'm slowly stringing the clues together.

"So it's you." I knew Lance couldn't believe him. "You're the one behind this! You're the one who killed those werewolves."

"And where did these allegations come from? I don't know that I did any of that."

"You lured me to Moon Lake first, then attacked us with low-level vampires. It was right after we were attacked that you planned to go after Anthony and me."

"I don't have much interest in werewolves. His wolf pack was surrounded by vampires long ago, and I just want to talk to you."

"Do you think I'll believe that?"

"Whatever, I found you when I did. That Alpha and his big stupid henchman were lying in the woods and I didn't move them a bit."

I still can't trust him, and every move he makes makes makes me feel ill-intentioned.

"What did you bring me here for?"

"I'm interested in you, a werewolf-vampire hybrid." Noah got up and poured himself a glass of wine. "From the first time I saw you I thought it was strange how a werewolf could have such delicious blood."

He licked the red wine from the corner of his mouth as if he was tasting my blood "You smell like a pure blood vampire, so I marked you. Pure-blooded vampires can't mark each other, and it turns out I was right, half of your blood is indeed pure blood."

"A pure-blood vampire? In that case, my mother..."

"You and your mother are very much alike." Noah twirled a strand of my hair, and I was surprised to see that my hair had turned light blonde.

WTF? I saw myself through the reflection of the glass on the cabinet. In addition to a head of light blonde hair, I had a deep red ring around the outer edge of my blue irises. My skin was smooth without a blemish.

"You've met my mother?"

"That's right, I met her when I was young. But who would have thought that such a beautiful and noble lady would fall in love with a werewolf."

"Show some respect, this is my family you're talking about." I subconsciously intimidated him. I said this with a very condescending posture, as if I was supposed to be like this. Like a fucking vampire aristocrat.

"You should be thankful that your mother was a pure-blooded noble. That's why you're alive today, isn't it?"

"You know my mother's identity?"

"Not only do we know that she comes from a family of our Secret Alliance."

"Tell me!"

"You want information, you're going to have to pay a price." The back of Noah's hand brushed against my cheek.

"Don't touch me." I opened his hand.

"That's much better, don't be a coyote with your tail between your legs." Noah flashed a smile.
